J.D. currently works for Alchemy, providing Workday implementation services to Higher Education customers. As a Senior Engagement Manager, J.D. provides project management support to Workday Student implementations.

From 2011-2025, J.D. delivered innovative IT projects for Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. His teams were responsible for all enterprise application systems, including Workday, Salesforce, eCommerce solutions, the website and intranet, and Business Intelligence solutions.

J.D. has more than 25 years experience leading all aspects of IT organizations, including enterprise software, application development, network administration, service desk and call center management, devops and project management.

Projects

J.D. led NWTC’s $20M project to replace an aging legacy Peoplesoft ERP system with Workday’s HCM, Financial, and Student Records cloud based platform.

Rebuilt the NWTC Student Portal to integrate with the legacy ERP system and provide a modern consumer experience. Prior to this project, students found the enrollment proces challenging and needed assistance from staff to complete the process.

Delivered a Salesforce implementation within the allocated budget, delivering business process improvements throughout the college in the areas of recruitment, admissions, enrollment, financial aid, and customer service.

Built an eCommerce solution for the Corporate Training division, allowing the team to sell their training products more effectively to area businesses.

Built a Business Intelligence system to provide reporting solutions to the President and Executive Team, delivering insights on enrollment trends, student success metrics, and financial results.
